Position Summary:
Assists elementary and intermediate school students with
their homework assignments.
Major Responsibilities:
Welcomes students to the Homework Center. Helps students
understand and organize their homework assignment. Guides
students in completing assignments. With the library staff,
assists the student in learning how to use the library
for a homework assignment. Encourages and supports the
efforts of students to complete homework in a timely and
accurate fashion.
Qualifications:
Experience with children. Teaching/training and library
skills. Good interpersonal skills. Patience. Must be available
during after school hours or on Saturday.
