Position Title: Media Assistant

Branch: Library Administration

Department: Media

Supervisor: Media Specialist

Length of Commitment: 1 year

Time Involvement: 2 hours per week

Position Summary:
Repairs audio cassettes that have been broken by library patrons.

Major Responsibilities:
Analyzes broken audio and video tapes to determine if they are repairable. Repairs both conventional and sonically welded audio cassettes that have been damaged due to abuse, heat and wear. Cleans CD's and cassettes.

Qualifications:
Good manual dexterity.
