Archery Safety Briefs

The Fairfax County Archery Program is a unique program and an effective deer management tool.

All Archery Groups selected by archery hunt lottery must attend a 1-hour Archery Safety Brief prior to participating in the Archery Program.

Attendance is mandatory for all Archery Group Liaisons and alternate - NO EXCEPTIONS.

If an Archery Group member is unable or unwilling to attend the Archery Safety Brief, they will be disqualified from participating in the Archery Program.

All Archery Program documents will be provided during the Archery Safety Brief including Archery Program ID Cards, Parking Passes, State and County permit copies, and program hunt tags.
