Objectives, Roles & Responsibilities and Timeframes for Task Force and Work Groups
Seven Corners Task Force
Objective: To review the history and the Comprehensive Plan for
the area, and confirm the Plan or develop recommendations that may be
used to guide the future development of the area, with emphasis on land
use and transportation
Roles: Chair, Participant and Staff Resource
Responsibilities: To attend all meetings, be an active
participant and work towards the successful achieving of the
objective
Timeframe: 18 to 24 months
Quality of Life Work Group
Objective: To fully identify the issues and explore possible
solutions for addressing more immediate quality of life issues (health,
safety, etc.)
Roles: Chair, Participant, and Staff Resource and Liaison with
Task Force
Responsibilities: To attend all meetings, be an active
participant and work towards the successful achieving of the
objective
Timeframe: 6 to 8 months
Connectivity Work Group
Objective: Review the overall connectivity of the area, including
pedestrian, bicycle and transit and develop recommendations, which may
include solutions that can be acted upon in the near-term as well as
longer-term needs to be reviewed and incorporated into the
recommendations of the Task Force
Roles: Chair, Participant, and Staff Resource and Liaison with
Task Force
Responsibilities: To attend all meetings, be an active
participant and work towards the successful achieving of the
objective
Timeframe: 6 to 8 months
