Community Association Updates

Are you the current or new representative of your Association? Are you in an older area that has no Association and you want to be the contact for your area?

Use this Community Association Update Form to send us an e-mail with your name, address, and contact information. Your information will go to the Office of Public Affairs, where the central Community Association database resides. Public Affairs forwards all new information to the appropriate Magisterial District office.

You can download a Community Association Manual that provides general information and guidelines concerning the legal authority, structure, and management procedures for mandatory-membership property and condominium owners associations? Click the link below to be directed to the information.

At monthly meetings of the Mount Vernon Council of Citizens Associations (MVCCA) and South County Federation (SCF), I bring packets of information to distribute to meeting attendees.  These packets typically include my Board Matters, letters to and from our state and federal legislators, and other public documents expected to be of interest to the attendees.  I have just created a web page from which you may access these information packets -  www.fairfaxcounty.gov/mountvernon/mvcca_and_scf_handouts.htm.
