2011 Teen Dating Abuse Prevention Video Now Available in Multiple Languages
More than 25 percent of Fairfax County students reported being the victim of some form of teen dating abuse - emotional, verbal or physical - in the past year, according to the Fairfax County Youth Survey of 8th, 10th and 12th graders. The video “Teen Dating Abuse, Do You Know the Facts?” is now available in English, Spanish, Korean and Vietnamese. It describes the different forms of dating abuse, warning signs and what you can do to help if you suspect a teen is being abused. (Student voice actors from Fairfax County Public Schools participated in the making of these videos.)
