TextVeterans Needed to Mentor Injured Service Members
Fairfax County Operation WOW! (Wellness Opportunities for Warriors) is now recruiting veterans who are interested in mentoring injured military service members who have returned from Iraq and Afghanistan. The service men and women meet once a week on Fridays in various locations. Training is provided. Upcoming activities include:
May 13th Golf Burke Lake
May 20th Police Academy Training
June 3rd Tennis
June 10th Disc Golf
June 17th Kayaking
June 24th Ropes Course
