2012 Reading: A Family Affair

Neighborhood and Community Services, in partnership with the Literacy Council of Northern Virginia and Verizon is pleased to present Reading: A Family Affair.  See the pages of a book unfold. Watch Bob Brown Puppets, Groovy Nate, and the Kalavaridhi Dance Company in the SEE a Book theater. Listen to storytellers Zurii Conroy, Barbara Effron, and Gary Lloyd in the HEAR a Book room. Interact with Jacqueline Jules and NOW THIS! in the BECOME a Book room. Reading and writing activities will be available in the READ & WRITE a Book room. Visitors can also participate in family computer activities in the CLICK a Book room.  All kids get a free book to take home!  This event is FREE and open to the public.
