Take Charge Programs


Take Charge is composed of the programs Project Toward No Tobacco Use (TNT) and Project Toward No Drug Abuse (TND).

Project Towards No Tobacco Use is for students ages 10 - 13.

  • The effect of tobacco on the body
  • The stages of tobacco addiction
  • Skills for building self-esteem
  • Tips for effective listening and communicating
  • How to be assertive and say "no" to peer pressure
  • Advertising tricks
  • How to advocate for "no tobacco use" in their communities

Project Towards No Drug Abuse is for participants ages 14 - 19.
