Landscape in Sun or Shade!
Whether your yard or common area is sunny or shaded, these native species are right for you. The Northern Virginia Soil and Water Conservation District is offering a specially selected package of 14 bare root shrub and tree seedlings that will thrive in the sun but also do well in partially shaded areas. The price for the package is $16.95 and contains two each of Common Witchhazel, Spice Bush, Eastern Redbud, Silky Dogwood and Graystem Dogwood. There are also four Shortleaf Pines.
Place your pre-paid orders by April 1. You will receive a confirmation receipt and a map to the pick-up site (in Fairfax County, off of Braddock Road, two miles outside the Beltway). Trees will be available for pickup on April 11-12.
