As director of the Internal Audit Office, Pietsch will be responsible for continually examining and evaluating the adequacy and effectiveness of the system of internal control and the quality of program performance. While in this position he developed a unified approach to auditing the corporate finance and indirect lending functions, managed a staff of five-seven auditors and analyzed financial, operational and compliance risks to ensure that sufficient, effective controls were in place.
