Supervisors Schedule Press Conference for June 4

 

Supervisors Gerry Hyland, Dana Kauffman and Gerry Connolly have scheduled a press conference to discuss the future of Inova Mount Vernon Hospital. This press conference will be held Wednesday, June 4, at 10 a.m., at the Mount Vernon District Governmental Center, 2511 Parkers Lane, Alexandria.

The purpose of this press conference is to demonstrate their support for the continuation of Mount Vernon Hospital as an essential medical facility serving the needs of citizens in the Mount Vernon and Lee districts. Inova will be asked to take all steps necessary to improve, enhance or add services to Mount Vernon Hospital to ensure its economic viability and its continuance as a valuable resource to this community.
