Recognize Best of Braddock Award Recipients
Braddock District Council will hold its annual picnic Tuesday, June 10, at 7 p.m. at the Braddock District Supervisors Office, 9002 Burke Lake Road, Burke. One outstanding district resident will be named Braddock District Citizen of the Year, and for the first time, five other distinguished Braddock District residents will be recognized in the new Best of Braddock Awards ceremony. The Braddock District Citizen of the Year will be announced at the picnic. The Best of Braddock Awards is a joint program of the Braddock District Council and the Braddock District Supervisor. It recognizes those citizens, organizations and businesses of the Braddock District who have gone above and beyond to be the very best. Four community leaders, Dottie Dane, John Shivik, Bob Cosgriff and Chet McLaren, served as judges to select the following BOB recipients:
