Lee and Mount Vernon District Supervisors Host Town Meeting

The Lee and Mount Vernon District supervisors are hosting a town meeting on Monday, June 23, at 7 p.m. to discuss transportation issues relating to Fort Belvoir, including current efforts to offset the closure of Woodlawn Road. The meeting, sponsored by Congressmen Tom Davis and Jim Moran, will be held in the cafeteria of Hayfield Secondary School, 7630 Telegraph Road, Alexandria.

The deputy secretary of the Army and Fort Belvoir’s commander, Colonel Thomas Williams, have been invited to participate.

Although the meeting will be focused on concerns of Lee and Mount Vernon District residents, all county citizens are welcome to attend.
