FAIRFAX CONNECTOR Makes Changes to Route 605

Effective Sunday, Aug. 31, the routing and schedule for FAIRFAX CONNECTOR Route 605 will change. Stringfellow Park-and-Ride and Fairfax Towne Center will no longer be served. New service will be added to Fair Oaks Mall, Fairfax Corner and the area behind the Fairfax County Government Center.

Service frequency along Route 605 will be 60 minutes instead of the current 30 minutes during the morning and afternoon rush hours. Departure and arrival times at time points will change. Please refer to the Route 605 schedule having an effective date of Aug. 31, 2003, for details of the new route and schedule.

Route 605 travels from the Fairfax County Government Center along Fair Lakes Parkway, Stringfellow Road, Lee-Jackson Highway, Fair Oaks Hospital, West Ox Road and Reston Parkway to Reston Town Center. Changes are being made to Route 605 in order to comply with the county’s budget requirements.
