Fairfax County Government Closed on Sept. 18
Fairfax County Government offices, facilities and buildings are closed
on Thursday, September 18, 2003, and employees are granted administrative
leave, however, emergency service personnel should still report as
scheduled. Since Fairfax County schools are also closed, all programs and
services in schools are cancelled. For Park Authority and Community and
Recreation Services rental programs or programs offered at private
locations, please contact the location directly. Everyone is encouraged
to stay home on Thursday and prepare for a severe weather event.
