Hours Extended Through Sunday at
Fairfax County Citizen Disposal Facilities
Fairfax County is extending the hours of operation at both of the county’s Citizen Disposal Facilities through Sunday, Sept. 28 to aid residents in disposing of debris created in the wake of Hurricane Isabel. The locations and extended hours for the facilities are listed below:
I-66 Citizen Disposal Facility, 4618 West Ox Road in
Fairfax
Thursday, Sept. 25 & Friday, Sept. 26: 6 a.m. – 8
p.m.
Saturday, Sept. 27: 6 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Sunday, Sept. 28: 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.
I-95 Citizen Disposal Facility, 9850 Furnace Road in
Lorton
Thursday, Sept. 25, Friday, Sept. 26, Saturday, Sept. 27 and Sunday,
Sept. 28: 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.
The hours have been extended to ensure that residents can clean up their
homes quickly to minimize any health or safety problems caused by debris,
spoiled food or standing water. For more information, call the Solid
