CUE Bus Green Line Changes on Oct. 14
Effective Tuesday, Oct. 14, the City of Fairfax CUE Bus will be re-routing the Green line, which serves the Vienna/Fairfax-GMU Metrorail Station. Green line bus service along Blake Lane, Sutton Road and Country Creek Road in Fairfax County will be eliminated. Instead, the Green line going to the Metro Station will be re-routed from Fairfax Circle east along Arlington Boulevard, north on Nutley Street, west on Virginia Center Boulevard to the north entrance of the Metro Station. The Green line will follow the same path southbound, traveling on Virginia Center Boulevard as it exits the Metro Station, south on Nutley Street, west on Arlington Boulevard, and resume its normal route at Fairfax Circle. This will enable the Green line to serve the Stonehurst neighborhood along Arlington Boulevard and the Pan Am Shopping Center along Nutley Street.
Passengers who board the bus along the eliminated section of the Green line on Blake Lane, Sutton Road and Country Creek Road may use the Gold line bus which will continue to operate on those streets. This portion of Blake Lane is also served by Metrobus 2B and 2G operating to and from the Vienna-Metrorail Station and Fair Oaks Mall.
