Channel 16's February Issue of "County Magazine" Offers a Variety of Topics for Television Viewers

The February issue of "County Magazine," a production of Fairfax County Government cable Channel 16, will feature the county's Skin Deep Tattoo Removal Program that helps former gang members find a better way of life. Other highlights of the February edition include segments on sailing classes on the Potomac River; how staged drills help ensure emergency preparedness; and the P'CASO (Protecting Children Against Sexual Offenders) program, a partnership between ChildSafeNet Inc. and the Fairfax County Police Department. You can also experience the sensation of flight as "County Magazine" takes you to the Smithsonian Institution’s new Udvar-Hazy Air and Space Museum on the grounds of Dulles International Airport.

"County Magazine" can be viewed on cable Channel 16 each Monday at 7 p.m., Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 3:30 p.m. and Sunday at 1:30 p.m. The program may also be viewed on the Internet at anytime during the month through Channel 16's video on demand service at www.fairfaxcounty.gov/dtcs/channel16/vstream.htm.
