Community Forum Scheduled to Discuss Fairfax County Air Quality Management Plan
On Wednesday, Feb. 25, at 7:30 p.m., a community forum is scheduled to solicit public input on the county's air quality management efforts. The meeting, which will feature opening remarks by Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Chairman Gerald E. Connolly, will be held in the Board Auditorium of the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax.
Interested participants who attend the meeting will have an opportunity to learn about and influence the development of an Air Quality Management Plan for Fairfax County. They can hear about and critique the county Air Quality Subcommittee’s conceptual recommendations to improve air quality, while also expressing concerns about air quality and providing ideas for solutions.
Anyone interested in participating is welcome to attend the forum. Pre-registration is not necessary, however, those who pre-register by Friday, Feb. 20, will receive background information regarding the study.
