FAIRFAX CONNECTOR NORTH Service Affected by Job Action
FAIRFAX CONNECTOR bus drivers initiated a job action today, Feb. 10, in north Fairfax County, which is affecting bus service on routes in the Dulles Corridor, including Herndon, Reston, and those routes which serve the West Falls Church, Pentagon, Pentagon City, Crystal City, Vienna and Dunn Loring Metrorail stations. As this situation may be related to labor negotiations between Yellow Bus Service Inc./Connex, which operates FAIRFAX CONNECTOR bus service in this area, and its employees, it is unclear how long this situation will last.
FAIRFAX CONNECTOR is planning to operate limited service on the following bus routes this afternoon (noon - 3 p.m.):
- Ribs 1, 2, 3, 4 to operate every 60 minutes
- 425 every 60 minutes
- 427 every 60 minutes
- 505 every 30 minutes through Reston East in both directions
- 605 every 2 hours
- 621 every 60 minutes
- 950 every 30 minutes
Bus service will not be provided on the following routes this afternoon, due to limited resources:
- Routes 504, 574, 922, 927
FAIRFAX CONNECTOR is planning to operate limited service on the following bus routes this evening (3 - 8 p.m.):
- Ribs 1, 2, 3, 4 to operate every 60 minutes
- 402/403 every 60 minutes
- 425 every 60 minutes
- 427 every 60 minutes
- 505 every 30 minutes through Reston East in both directions
- 585 every 60 minutes
- 605 every 2 hours
- 621 every 30 minutes
- 950 every 30 minutes
- 980 every 15 minutes
Bus service will not be provided on the following routes this evening, due to limited resources:
- Routes 504, 551, 552, 553, 554, 556, 557, 574, 922, 924, 926, 927, 929, 951, 952, and 989.
- Route 989 passengers should board Route 505 at the West Falls Church Metro Station.

following bus routes tonight
(8 p.m. - closing):
- Ribs 1, 2, 3, 4 to operate every 60 minutes
- 425 every 60 minutes
- 427 every 60 minutes
- 505 every 30 minutes
- 605 every 2 hours
- 621 every 30 minutes
- 950 every 30 minutes
- Bus service will not be provided on the following routes tonight, due to limited resources:
- Routes 504, 574
All FAIRFAX CONNECTOR bus routes in south Fairfax County serving the Huntington, Franconia-Springfield, Van Dorn and Pentagon Metrorail stations will operate normal weekday service as usual.

Fairfax County also will provide updated information to the news media. Passengers who are affected by this job action may want to consider alternatives such as Metrorail or carpooling.
