New "Comprehensive Plan Announcements" E-mail Subscription Service
The Fairfax County Department of Planning and Zoning has initiated a new e-mail subscription service called "Comprehensive Plan Announcements" that is free to subscribers. The periodic announcements will relate to the Fairfax County Comprehensive Plan and include information about the 2004-2005 Area Plans Review process, adopted amendments to the Comprehensive Plan or other subjects related to the planning process. The Comprehensive Plan is the guide used by the community, the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors to make decisions about the county's built and natural environments. This five-volume document consists of the Policy Plan and four Area Plans.
To subscribe, visit the Fairfax County Web site at www.fairfaxcounty.gov/email/lists/. Click on the link for Comprehensive Plan Announcements. Follow the directions for subscribing to the list and confirming your subscription. Directions are also provided if you choose to unsubscribe at some time in the future.
