Fairfax County Announces Change to Budget Public Hearing Time
The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors has scheduled several public
hearings on the FY 2005 advertised budget and there has been a change to
the time the March 31 public hearing will be held. Originally scheduled
for 7:30 p.m., the March 31 public hearing now will begin at 7 p.m. due
to the number of speakers scheduled. Other public hearings on the FY 2005
advertised budget are scheduled for March 29 and 30 at 7:30 p.m., with
the School Board presentation scheduled on March 31 at 6 p.m.
All of the budget public hearings will be held in the Board Auditorium
of the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway,
Fairfax, and will be televised live on Fairfax County Government Cable
Channel 16. The budget public hearings will also be available through
video-streaming live on the county Web site at
www.fairfaxcounty.gov/dtcs/channel16/vstream.htm, and they will be
available at www.fairfaxcounty.gov/dtcs/channel16/vstream.htm through
video-on-demand throughout the month of April.
