to discuss rebuilding the Pentagon
The Fairfax County Department of Public Works and Environmental Services invites members of the area media to attend a breakfast presentation on Friday, April 2, beginning at 9:30 a.m. in Rooms 4 and 5 at the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax. The featured speaker will be Allyn E. Kilsheimer, P.E., founder of KCE Structural Engineers, PC, which provided emergency engineering, post-collapse assistance and the design and reconstruction of the structurally damaged areas of the Pentagon following the Sept. 11, 2001, attack. There is no cost to attend the breakfast presentation and reservations are not required.
This event will set the stage for the celebration
of International Building Safety Week, which is being commemorated by all
Northern Virginia regions the week of April 4 – 10. The presentation will
also be attended by building, fire and health officials from five
jurisdictions and leaders from the community and local trade
