The Town of Herndon's Annual Festival Starts Thursday, June 3
In Fairfax County, the start of summer means the start of fun, sun and street fairs. One of the first town festivals of the season, the Herndon Festival, begins on Thursday, June 3, at 6 p.m. in the city’s historic downtown.
The festival runs from Thursday, June 3, through Sunday, June 6. On Thursday, the hours of operation are from 6 - 10 p.m. On Friday, the festival runs from 5 - 11 p.m. The celebration continues on Saturday from 10 a.m. - 11 p.m., and on Sunday, the festivities resume from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.

This 24th annual festival — a part of the Town of Herndon’s 125th
anniversary celebration — will include carnival rides, food, music,
fireworks, arts-and-crafts for children, 10K- and 5K-races, a 2K-dog walk
and the Business Expo.
Sponsored by the Herndon Dulles Chamber of Commerce, the Business Expo
runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 5 and from 11 a.m. to 5
p.m. on Sunday, June 6. Booths will line both sides of Pine Street
between Monroe and Station Streets.
