August "County Magazine" to Feature Long-Term Care,
Women's Issues, Pets and Much More
Tune in to Fairfax County Government Cable Channel 16 in August for the latest edition of “County Magazine” and learn more about the county’s Commission for Women and how it tackles issues affecting women and girls. Also highlighted are the activities of a new council to address the shortage of long-term care for seniors in Fairfax County and a feature on the Tim Harmon 5K, an annual race that calls attention to the prevalence and dangers of hepatitis C.
Also included on the August program is the Women’s Business Center of Northern Virginia, which has new and exciting programs for entrepreneurs; pet safety during these “dog days” of summer; and how to garden your way to a cleaner environment.
