Community Lunch Series: A Profile of Southern Fairfax County
Fairfax County is a diverse and dynamic area whose communities experience the ongoing challenge of change and growth. County residents are invited to attend the next community lunch program for a discussion on the area’s demographics, recent trends and their impact on human services needs and delivery. Particular emphasis and information about the Region One area of the Fairfax County will be included.
The community lunch program will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 15, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Room 220/221 of the South County Center, 8350 Richmond Highway in Alexandria. Lunch and networking will take place from 11:30 a.m. to noon (brown bag lunches are welcome) with the program beginning at noon until 1 p.m.
Sara Daleski, manager of Research, Analysis and Project Services with the Fairfax County Department of Systems Management for Human Services and Becky Witsam, executive director with the Southeast Fairfax Development Corporation will be the special guest presenters. Resource tables will also be on display with information useful to the community.
