Stormwater Advisory Committee to Hold First Meeting
The Stormwater Advisory Committee will meet on Thursday, Sept. 23, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax. The meeting will be held in the Conference Center, Rooms 2 and 3.
This is the first meeting of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors-appointed citizen committee seated to provide constituent input on community expectations for stormwater management, including the level and extent of service citizens desire. The committee will meet through February 2005 and will provide guidance and insight into pertinent stormwater management policies and program elements. The committee will also provide a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors regarding a dedicated funding source to facilitate the county’s stormwater management program efforts.
