Power Outage Causes Closure of Fairfax County General District and Circuit Courts
A power outage caused by construction work being done on the courts renovation project has forced the closure of the Fairfax County General District Court, Circuit Court and Jennings Judicial Center for the remainder of the day, Thursday, Sept. 30. The courts and judicial center officially closed at 11 a.m. this morning.
The Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court is unaffected by the power outage and is open.
Persons with cases scheduled in either the
General District Court or Circuit Court after 11 a.m. today should call
the number on their court documents or the courts information line at
703-691-7320, TTY 711 tomorrow for additional information.
