High Voter Turnout Expected, But Will Residents Know Where to Go?
The staff at the Electoral Board is gearing up for a long day on Nov. 2, expecting twice as many voters as in the 2003 general election. One problem that voters have during elections is that they forget where they are supposed to go to cast their ballots. To clear up any confusion, precinct maps and descriptions are now available online at www.fairfaxcounty.gov/eb/precincts.htm.
“We’re doing everything we can to help voters,” says Maggi Luca, Fairfax County Electoral Board secretary. Also on this page are links to information on absentee voting, voting equipment, and more.
For more information on voter registration or voting locations, contact the Registrar’s Office at 703-222-0776, TTY 711. For information on absentee ballots or precincts, call 703-324-4735, TTY 711
