Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Evaluates County Executive
At its regular meeting of Feb. 7, 2005, the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors performed its annual evaluation of the county executive and approved a salary adjustment. The process used by the Board in evaluating its employees reflects the goal of salary adjustments based on demonstrated performance.
The specific adjustment to the compensation package of Anthony H. Griffin, county executive, whose tenure began on Dec. 6, 1999, is:
• A 5 percent increase to his base salary of $194,995, which raises it to $204,745 effective Feb. 1, 2005.
All other terms of his contract remain the same.
