Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Evaluates County Attorney

At its regular meeting of Feb. 7, 2005, the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors performed its annual evaluation of the county attorney and approved salary and benefit adjustments. The process used by the Board in evaluating its employees reflects the goal of salary adjustments based on demonstrated performance.

The specific adjustments to the compensation package of David P. Bobzien, county attorney for the past 12 years, are:

• A 5.5 percent increase to his base salary, raising it to $174,935.

His total compensation, including deferred compensation, is now $192,935 per annum effective Feb. 1, 2005.
