Herndon’s Taste of the Town
The Council for the Arts of Herndon is celebrating its 20th year as the official arts organization for the town of Herndon. The 14th annual Taste of the Town will be held on Thursday, April 21, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the Worldgate Center, 13027 Worldgate Drive, Herndon.
The Taste of the Town will feature a silent and live auction, offering for bid movie passes, Virginia Gold Cup passes or passes to the Macy’s Day Parade. Gerald E. Connolly, Chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors, will be the guest auctioneer for the live auction that evening. Proceeds from the auction will be used to award art scholarships and support various art and cultural programs in the greater Herndon area. The event will also include entertainment, a cash bar and food from more than 20 restaurants, including Chocolate Chick, Hard Times Café, The Tortilla Factory and many more.
