Open Hire to be held at Public Safety Communications Center

On Saturday, April 30, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Fairfax County Public Safety Communications Center will host a pre-screening open hire at the Richard A. King Public Safety Communications Center, 3911 Woodburn Road, Annandale.

The event is designed for individuals interested in applying to become public safety dispatchers and will provide an opportunity to visit the center and learn more about the job and the important role of the 911 Center staff.

Those interested can process their employment applications into the county’s Applicant Information Management System (AIMS) on site. Applicants who have already applied through AIMS will be able to finish additional pre-hiring requirements during the open hire event.
