Community Lunch Series Focuses on Caring for Aging Adults
Fairfax County residents are invited to attend a panel discussion on “Caring for Aging Adults” on Wednesday, May 18, as part of the Community Lunch Series. The program will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Room 220 of the South County Center, 8350 Richmond Highway, Alexandria. Lunch and networking will take place from 11:30 a.m. to noon (brown bag lunches are welcome) with the discussion beginning at noon. The event is free, and reservations are not required.
The panel will be composed of Fairfax County agency representatives who will discuss local programs and resources for the elderly. There will be a question and answer session at the end. Panelists are Georgia Miller, Fairfax County Health Department; Betsy Pugin, Fairfax Area Agency on Aging; and Julie Ellis, Fairfax County Community and Recreation Services.
