Sherwood Regional Library Temporarily Closed
The Sherwood branch of the Fairfax County Public Library will close at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, and is scheduled to reopen at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 16. The building, which is located at 2501 Sherwood Hall Lane in Alexandria, is being closed because of needed repairs to the air-conditioning system. Residents are encouraged to call the branch at 703-765-3645, TTY 711 before visiting on Thursday, or check the library’s Web page: www.fairfaxcounty.gov/library.
The Sherwood branch averages almost 27,000 visits from the public per
month. Residents who have books to return can deposit them in the
library’s book drop. Those who are interested in other library services
can visit the nearby Martha Washington branch, located at 6614 Fort Hunt
Road in Alexandria.
