Correction to June 16 News Release
“Fairfax County Board of Supervisors to Recognize Citizens and
Staff, Issue Proclamations and Adopt Resolutions”

In a June 16 news release, the dates for Mosquito Awareness Week were incorrect. The week begins June 26 and ends July 2. The purpose of this week is to promote environmentally sound mosquito control practices, enhance public education in regard to mosquito-borne diseases and put forth ways to eliminate mosquito breeding sites.
