Hurricane Katrina Benefit to Be Held Sept. 9
The Annandale community is invited to attend a Hurricane Katrina Benefit on Friday, Sept. 9, sponsored by the Annandale Chamber of Commerce, Royal Management & Development Inc., The Heritage Center, Trammell Crow Company, the Annandale Rotary Foundation for the American Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund and the Braddock and Mason District Board of Supervisor offices.
The event runs from 5 to 7 p.m. in the lobby of the Heritage Center Building IV, 7619 Little River Turnpike, Annandale. The goal is to raise $50,000 to aid those devastated by Hurricane Katrina. Food and music will be provided.
All donations should be in the form of a check made payable to the "American Red Cross Hurricane Relief Fund." A representative from the American Red Cross will be there to receive all proceeds during the event. Anyone who would like to contribute but is unable to attend the benefit may bring checks to the Chamber of Commerce office, 7263 Maple Place, Annandale, or the Trammell Crow Company management office, 7611 Little River Turnpike, Suite 304 West, Annandale, and it will be given to the Red Cross representative at the benefit.
