“Planning Commission Roundtable” Hits the Books with Program on Future County Libraries
November’s edition of “Planning Commission Roundtable” on Fairfax County Cable Channel 16 will focus on planned locations and services for future county libraries. Planning Commission Chairman Pete Murphy talks with Fairfax County Library Director Sam Clay and Stephanie Abbott, chairman of the Fairfax County Library Board.
Tune in to Channel 16 every Thursday at 6:30 p.m. to watch “Planning Commission Roundtable” or visit www.fairfaxcounty.gov/cable/channel16/pc_roundtable.htm to view this program online any time this month. The December program will explore the activities of the Board of Zoning Appeals, and future programs will highlight the Base Realignment and Closure Commission’s recommendations for the Fort Belvoir area and proposed changes to the county’s Transportation Plan.
You also may access the archives of previous programs dating back to 2003 by contacting the Planning Commission at 703-324-2865, TTY 703-324-7951 to schedule a time during business hours (8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.) to watch a program in its offices, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax. Previous programs include fire and police department capital projects, preserving affordable housing, Geographic Information Systems and redevelopment of Laurel Hill.
