Laurel Hill Proposal Available for Review
The Department of Planning and Zoning has released a draft request for proposal that seeks development partners to adaptively reuse the former Lorton Correctional Reformatory and Penitentiary area, now known as Laurel Hill. The draft will be available for public review until April 28, during which time it also will be reviewed by the Virginia Department of Historic Resources, the Fairfax County Architectural Review Board and the Lorton Heritage Society.
