Three-Part Land-Use Seminar Series Will Be Offered Starting on April 25
Providence District Supervisor Hosting Seminars
A three-part seminar series about land use will be offered on Tuesday, April 25, Monday, May 8 and Monday, May 22. The free seminars will be conducted at the Fairhill Elementary School, 3001 Chichester Lane, Fairfax, from 7:30 to 10 p.m each night.
On April 25, the first seminar, “Land Use Information on the Web,” will provide residents with an opportunity to learn about the various ways land-use resources and information can be accessed from the Fairfax County Web site. Staff from the county’s Geographic Information Systems Division will present these online resources, answer questions and solicit feedback from the participants on how to improve access to land-use information and resources.
The series is sponsored by Providence District Supervisor Linda Q. Smyth. For more information about the series, upcoming seminar topics or reasonable ADA accommodations, contact the Providence District Supervisor’s Office at 703-560-6946, TTY 711, e-mail provdist@fairfaxcounty.gov, or visit www.fairfaxcounty.gov/providence/land_seminar.htm.
