UPDATE: Extended Hours for Emergency Service Center and Shelter Set Through Wednesday
New announcements and information regarding the flooding in the Annandale Terrace neighborhood:
The service center will be open until 8 p.m. today, June 27 and from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 28.
- The emergency shelter will remain open overnight and through Wednesday, June 28 at 8 p.m.
- Both the service center and emergency shelter, operated by Fairfax County and the American Red Cross, are located at Edison High School (entrance 14), 5801 Franconia Road, Alexandria, for residents who have been affected by the flooding in the Arlington Terrace section of southeastern Fairfax County. Fastran shuttle bus service is available between Edison High School and the corner of Biscayne Drive and Huntington Avenue in the Arlington Terrace area.
