Fairfax Connector South County Route Changes Effective Oct. 15
Fairfax Connector bus service in south Fairfax County will implement route and schedule changes effective Oct. 15, as follows:
- Routes 123 and 310: These two separate routes, which connect at the Franconia-Springfield Metrorail Station, will be combined to form one route, named Route 310. The new Route 310 schedule will be a combination of the current Route 123 schedule and a modification of the current Route 310 schedule.
- Route 301: Service on Lantern Place will be discontinued. Instead, buses will enter and exit the Vantage community using Vantage Drive and Rolling Stone Way. The Vantage and Hayfield Farm communities will be bypassed by the last westbound trip at 9:35 p.m. due to lack of ridership in these communities at that time of night.
New bus timetables and route maps are available on board buses, at Connector Stores or at www.fairfaxconnector.com (under “Schedules and Maps”).
