Hunter Mill District to Host Senior Resource Fair on Oct. 27
Hunter Mill District Supervisor Catherine M. Hudgins will host a senior resource fair on Friday, Oct. 27 from 9:30 a.m. until noon at the Reston Community Center at Hunter Woods, 2310 Colts Neck Road, Reston.
The “Aging Gracefully” fair will cover a variety of panel topics such as tax breaks, supportive in-home services, housing resources, transportation and understanding Medicare and Medicare Part D.
“It is important that all Hunter Mill district residents stay informed, especially our seniors. This growing population plays a vital role in our community and the fair is a great way to disseminate valuable information,” said Hudgins, who will be joined by Fairfax County government staff and area nonprofits for the event.
