In-Person Absentee Voting for the Nov. 7 General Election

In continuing efforts to make absentee voting accessible to citizens, the Fairfax County Office of Elections is offering extended in-person absentee voting times and locations for the Tuesday, Nov. 7 general election. These expanded opportunities should allow busy commuters, students, citizens with disabilities and other eligible voters increased flexibility in casting absentee votes.

In-person absentee voting is available to eligible voters now through Saturday, Nov. 4, in Suite 323 of the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

For added convenience, special afternoon and Saturday hours are also available at seven satellite locations, now through Nov. 4, Monday through Friday from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

These locations are:

  • Franconia Governmental Center, 6121 Franconia Road, Springfield
  • Mason Governmental Center, 6507 Columbia Pike, Annandale
  • McLean Governmental Center, 1437 Balls Hill Road, McLean
  • Mount Vernon Governmental Center, 2511 Parkers Lane, Alexandria
  • North County Governmental Center, 12000 Bowman Towne Drive, Reston
  • Sully District Governmental Center, 4900 Stonecroft Blvd., Chantilly
  • West Springfield Governmental Center, 6140 Rolling Road, Springfield

Any eligible Fairfax County voter who meets the legal requirements may vote absentee in-person in this election. A list of eligibility requirements may be found on the Office of Elections Web page at Persons needing assistance or additional information should call the Office of Elections, 703-222-0776, TTY 771, during in-person absentee voting hours.

On the ballot in the Nov. 7 general election are candidates for the U.S. Senate from Virginia and the U.S. House of Representatives from the 8th, 10th and 11th Congressional Districts. Also on the ballot are proposed Virginia state constitutional amendments and Fairfax County bond referendums.
