Veterans Day Holiday Schedule for Fairfax County

Listed below are schedules for Fairfax County government offices and services for the Veterans Day holiday on Friday, Nov. 10.

County Government – Closed

Courts – Closed

Public Schools and School Offices – Open

Libraries – Closed

Fairfax Connector – Regular weekday schedule, except no service on Routes 595 and 597* (www.fairfaxconnector.com)

FASTRAN – Not in Service

Park Authority RECenters – Open

Community, Teen and Senior Centers – Closed**

County Trash Collection – Regular Schedule***

Recycling and Disposal Facilities at I-66 and I-95 – Open

* Riders can take Fairfax Connector buses to West Falls Church Metro Station to continue by Metrorail.

** Reston Community Center’s Hunters Woods facility will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; the swimming pool will be open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.; the Lake Anne facility will be closed.
