Reston License Plate Proposed
Design Submissions Accepted Until Nov. 30
The Reston Citizens Association (RCA) is accepting design submissions until Nov. 30 for art and a slogan for a proposed Reston license plate. The RCA is looking for entries that will “show off to all the world what a great place Reston is!” All entries must be from Reston residents.
To produce the special license plate, the Virginia Department of Motor Vehicles requires a minimum of 350 pre-paid applications by Jan. 30, 2007. The RCA will hold all applications and checks until the special license creation process is complete and then forward one large check to the VA DMV.
The link to the license plate application and further information on where to send the application, in addition to instructions for the design contest, are available from the Reston Citizens Association’s Web site at www.restoncitizensassociation.org.
