Tree Forum Scheduled for March 13

Dranesville District Supervisor Joan DuBois and the Virginia Cooperative Extension will host a tree forum on Tuesday, March 13, at 7 p.m. at Colvin Run Elementary School, 1400 Trap Road, Vienna. The program is free, however registration is suggested as seating is limited. The deadline for registration is March 9.

The program is designed to address homeowners’ concerns for trees on their property and in their community. A panel of experts from the Virginia Cooperative Extension, Fairfax County Urban Forest Management and other organizations will provide the latest information on maintaining tree health. Topics to be discussed include pest control, pruning, care and feeding and advice on selecting sites and trees for planting.
