Media Advisory: Chairman Connolly to Deliver State of the County Address on Thursday, March 15, at 6:30 p.m.
Fairfax County Board of Supervisors Chairman Gerald E. Connolly will reflect on the accomplishments of the past year and outline his top priorities for 2007 during the State of the County address on Thursday, March 15, at 6:30 p.m. in the Fairfax County Government Center, Suite 133, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax. The speech will include a significant announcement about the county’s environmental agenda.
Members of the media are invited to attend and Connolly will be available for questions at 7 p.m., directly following the address, in the Channel 16 studio on the first floor of the Government Center in Suite 133.
The address will be broadcast live on Fairfax County Government Channel 16, and live coverage will be available via video streaming on the county’s Channel 16 Web page at www.fairfaxcounty.gov/cable.
Following the live coverage, the address will replay Fridays and Sundays at 5:30 p.m. and Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. on Channel 16. The address also will be available for viewing anytime on Video on Demand at www.fairfaxcounty.gov/cable/channel16/vod.htm.
Copies of the State of the County address will be distributed to the media on Thursday evening. The address will be available online on Friday, March 16, on Connolly’s Web page at www.fairfaxcounty.gov/chairman.
