Providence District Supervisor to Host Real Estate Tax Relief Workshop for Older Adults
Looking for tax relief? Providence District residents who are over the age of 65 are invited to the fourth annual Senior Tax Relief Workshop. The workshop will discuss applying for real estate tax relief. Hosted by Providence District Supervisor Linda Q. Smyth, the workshop will be held on April 18, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Providence District Office, 8739 Lee Highway, Fairfax.
Personnel from the county’s Department of Tax Administration will be present to help eligible residents apply for tax relief.
Older adults and residents who are permanently and totally disabled looking for more information about real estate tax relief can call the Department of Tax Administration at 703-222-8234, TTY 703-222-7594, between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. weekdays.
